The Games of June 2021

June is a big month, not only are there countless games to enjoy from DC lead adventures, to marvelous trips back in time, there is a lot to cover. But there is also a slew of gaming events, which will showcase the best that companies are looking to offer gamers over the next few months and years.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

June 11 - PlayStation 5

The next chapter in the Ratchet & Clank saga, has the titular heroes split up, when they fall into rifts, created by their nemesis, and with the help of Rivet, they will try to put a stop to Emperor Nefarious before all reality is destroyed


Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance

June 22 - Xbox Series X, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4

It is set in the tundra region of Icewind Dale, and will feature characters from R. A. Salvatore's novel series The Legend of Drizzt, including the four playable characters: Drizzt Do'Urden, Catti-brie, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Wulfgar. The game will include both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Legend of Mana

June 24 - PlayStation 4, PC, Switch

A remake of the 1999 classic, which aims to bring the iconic look, gameplay and story back to modern games, with the chance to visit the land of Fa’Diel once more. Released at first for the PlayStation, this is not the first time the game has hit other platforms, but there is more here than just the same game.


Mario Golf: Super Rush

June 25- Switch

Get ready to hit the greens and sand and more, with Mario Golf: Super Rush, not only will it offer up the chance to play some golf, but there is a story mode and new offerings like Speed Golf and a capture the flag style offering.


Scarlet Nexus

June 25 - PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X

Scarlet Nexus is an action role-playing game played from a third-person perspective. Players can assume control of either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall, members of the Other Suppression Force (OSF) who are tasked to defend New Himuka from creatures known as the Others


Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2

June 25- Switch

Kick flipping onto Switch for the first time, the Birdman and crew are bringing the iconic entries back, but now in portable mode. Featuring levels, skaters and more importantly the tracks from the og games, this is one much hyped remake.


Lucasfilm Classic Games: Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol

June 29 - Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

The classic game Zombies Ate My Neighbors and its sequel Ghoul Patrol are coming back in a double pack, with additional features like the ability to save anywhere, art gallery, video features and more.


That is just a start, there are more games coming from other platforms, like Destroy All Humans on Switch or Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PlayStation 5.
