Each week there are a lot of news stories that come through, some are massive enough that they generate conversation, then there are those that can just slide on by.

From Dead Space being dated, to Gotham Knights expanding and shrinking, there was a lot, but let us start off with the return of the Indie World event from Nintendo.

With the release date for Gotham Knights locked in, we are going to start seeing more of the game, which is the case now with the latest gameplay trailer, featuring Nightwing and Red Hood. But with that good news, comes the bad and that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles are no longer being supported.

Starfield and Redfall both lose their 2022 release dates

In a random late night tweet from the main Bethesda Twitter, it was announced that both Starfield and Redfall will not release this year, and will instead hit sometime in the first half of next year. Given that we hadn’t seen anything from Redfall since it was first announced, that was expected, but Starfield was a shock.

The Dead Space Remake Is Coming In January, As New Details Are Released

After another content filled livestream, where Motive showed off the art that Dead Space is embracing, it was announced that the game will release on January 27th, sticking to their planned early 2023 release. We also got a ton of new footage to enjoy.

After years of being EA Sports FIFA, this year will be the last, as the game is changing, well the name is, welcome EA Sports FC, with clubs and players from around the world signed on for it already. The content is going to be the same, it just won’t contain the FIFA name anymore.

So there you go, the bigger stories from the week that was. There was also a deep dive for Monster Hunter Rise’s upcoming DLC Sunbreak, Alan Wake lighting up Switch and Apex Legends Mobile getting dated, so it was a busy week.
