SaGa Emerald Beyond has delivered a demo to players on all platforms

Square Enix released a demo for SaGa Emerald Beyond last week for all the platforms that the game is coming to, but there is a catch, the content of the demos is unique to each for platform.

That means folks on PC will get to experience the opening moments of the story of Diva No 5, the Songstress Mech, a new trailer for the character was released alongside the demo.

For those on Nintendo Switch, the demo focuses on Ameya. A witch-in-training who visits Miyako City and lives in secret as a schoolgirl as a part of her graduation exam. After Ameya is attacked by an unknown person, she loses practically all of her magical power and must find a way to regain what was lost and pass her final exam.

For PlayStation owners, that is both 4 and 5, Tsunanori Mido is the focus of the demo. A man who can manipulate kugutsu, or animated puppets, protecting the barrier around his home, Miyako City. When the city is plagued by all kinds of supernatural phenomena, Tsunanori embarks on a journey to other worlds to find four elemental spirits in order to restore order to the spiritual realm.

No matter the platform, progress from each demo will carry progress across to the full game. The game itself will be out for those platforms, as well as iOS and Android devices on April 25th.
