Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos crusade onto PC in 2020

Team17 are not slowing down, having announced a few new partnerships in the past month or so, they have announced another one. This time, they are joining forces with Heliocentric Studios to bring the action role playing game Rogue Heros: Ruins of Tasos to PC in 2020, check out the trailer below.

The game is a mash-up of many genres, adventuring like Zelda, town building and farming like Stardew Valley, and deep RPG like Dragon Quest.

Joshua Gump, Programmer at Heliocentric Studios, said: “We’ve had a fantastically busy period releasing two titles on Steam in just three years, but for Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos – our most ambitious game to date – we wanted to ensure we had the support and experience of a publishing label behind us. Team17’s track record of helping developers successfully bring their games to market brought us reassurance that Rogue Heroes will realise its potential, and we can’t wait to launch the game in 2020.”

Max Everingham, Head of Publishing at Team17, said: “Heliocentric Studios’ innovative takes on mixing classic game genres continues to help the team stand out from the crowd, and with Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos they’re looking to do so once again. Rogue Heroes is a great addition to our ever-growing portfolio of titles that we’re publishing in 2020, and we can’t wait to support Joshua and Brandon in realising their vision for the game.”
