More storage options are coming later this year for Xbox Series X and Series S consoles

Xbox have announced that Series X and Series S owners will soon have more options for storage, with two new sized storage devices, letting you keep your games on the console, without filling up the internal storage.

Players have been able to get the 1tb model since day one and coming this November a 512gb option will be available and while local pricing is not confirmed, its a little more than half the US price of the 1tb option, so if that tracks here, $220 to $250 AUD is likely.

In addition if you want more storage, a 2tb option is also coming, with a US price of $399, so just under double what the 1tb costs and that will be available in December.

In a move that is weird, the 2tb and only the 2tb card is the next product in the Designed for Xbox Limited Series and will come complete with the below badge on the box. According to Xbox, anything that is marked by a Designed for Xbox Limited Series badge on the lower right-hand corner of the box, ensures a premium product, in both quality and design. Limited Series products will also boast a custom-made feature set designed specifically for Xbox that will take your gaming experience to the next level.
