Halo Infinite will offer full cross-play and cross-progression across PC and consoles
In a post on the Xbox Wire, the Head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty talked about the future of PC gaming, at least from the point of view from Xbox. It is a good read and if you are someone who prefers to game on the PC, I highly suggest you give it a read.
The big news that was released inside of it, is that when Halo Infinite is released later this year, for Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox One, it will support full multiplayer cross-play, meaning you can always find people to play against.
But more than that, it will allow for full cross-progression as well, so all your unlocks, kill streaks and beyond, will be with you, no matter which device you choose to play upon at that time.
While not uncommon these days, cross-progression is always nice to see supported for games. Of course, those playing on PC will also have access to more advanced options, because the team at 343 Industries are working with members of the PC community, to ensure that the PC version is the best it can be.
Features like ultrawide and super ultrawide screens, along with triple keybinds and a wide variety of advanced graphics options are all being worked on, to allow the PC release of Halo Infinite to shine.
