Fall Guys gets dated for Switch and Xbox, whilst swapping to a free to play model

After almost a year of silence, Epic Games and developer Mediatonic have announced that Fall Guys has gotten a slight name change, but will now be landing on Switch, Xbox and the Epic Game Store for PC players on June 21st and it will become free on all platforms on the same day.

The game is still going to offer the same chaotic fun that players have come to expect from the series, but now just on more platforms and without any upfront cost.

The game will also now offer full cross-play, which was one of the reasons for the lengthy delay on it hitting Switch and Xbox, as well as cross-progression. So if you have been stuck on your PlayStation 4 thanks to the free nature of the game through PlayStation Plus, but would rather be on PC, now is your chance.

If you already own the game on platforms where it is already out, you will get the Legacy Pack, shown below, as a thank you for buying in previously.

Even though it isn’t a mobile game, they are doing the whole pre-register thing and the more people that do, the more free things will be given away. If you want to take part, you can do that here, or just wait for the game to release next month.
