Xbox details Xbox One consoles at Gamescom

Xbox this morning announced a slew of news for the Xbox One family of devices, from details about the Xbox One X pre-orders to new Xbox One S bundles.

First up is Xbox One X, available to officially pre-order starting today, the console will be available in a limited run as the Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition, with both the console and controller having the Project Scorpio name printed in the classic Xbox green. The Xbox One X will release on November 7th, so be sure to get your orders in as soon as you can, if you don't want to miss out.

In addition, owners of the Project Scorpio branded console will also score a vertical stand in the box, but while that is a little nice, the entire console will be printed in a special black colour, only available this way. You can check out the unboxing of the console, including every accessory included as well.

Also announced were two new Xbox One S console bundles, the first being just a standard white Xbox One S, but comes packed with a copy of Middle-earth Shadow of War. Each bundle comes with an Xbox One S with either a 500GB or 1TB hard drive, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, an Xbox Wireless Controller, 1-month Xbox Game Pass subscription and 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.

The bundle will release at the same time as the game, so be sure to keep your eyes out for it.

Finally, Minecraft fans will be able to acquire a really special console, check it out.

The Xbox One S Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle (1TB) includes a custom designed grass block console, Xbox Wireless Controller – Minecraft Creeper, Minecraft system sounds, vertical stand and transparent underside with Redstone circuit accents. This exclusive bundle also includes a full game download of Minecraft plus the Redstone Pack, a collection of unique skin packs.
